Meanwhile, five more persons tested positive for Covid-19 in different districts of Surat on Sunday. According to health officials, two cases each were reported from Olpad and Choryasi talukas and one from Mandvi taluka. In Valsad, Ashok Mangela, a resident of Daheri village of Umargam taluka, was discharged from the Covid-19 hospital in Vapi town on Sunday after he recovered. In Dang, the first Covid-19 patient was on verge of recovery. Preeti Kunvar's two tests came negative she was set to be discharged soon.
