Goodbyes are not easy, especially when the person is taken away unexpectedly and you are left with nothing but memories. Rishi Kapoor’s death was a jolt to the entire nation. But he is missed most by his family. Recently, daughter Riddhima Kapoor Sahni’s husband, Bharat Sahni, said farewell to his father-in-law after the actor’s ashes were immersed in Banganga. He wrote, ‘I consider myself lucky to have something that makes it difficult to say good bye. Thank you for the memories.’ Theirs was not a traditional relationship. They seemed more like friends, often hanging out together. Bharat and Riddhima missed the late veteran actor’s funeral as they had to travel to Mumbai via road from Delhi, owing to lockdown restrictions.
