Despite the lockdown, the coronavirus continues to wreak havoc in the country. According to the Union Ministry of Health, the number of coronavirus infections in the country so far has reached 40,263. So far 1306 patients have died due to the virus, while 10,887 people have been cured. But the most worrying situation is in Maharashtra, Gujarat, and Delhi where things are getting worse. J

Know these three states most affected by a coronavirus

Maharashtra

The state most affected by coronavirus is Maharashtra. According to the state health ministry, the total number of infected people has reached 12296 so far. In the last 24 hours, 790 new positive cases were reported, while 36 people also died. With this, 521 patients have died in the state so far.

Gujarat

According to the Gujarat Health Department, the total number of positive cases in the state has reached 5055. Out of this 896 people have been cured, 262 people have died so far.

Delhi

According to the Delhi government, the total number of positive cases in Delhi now stands at 4122. Of this, 1256 people have been cured, 64 people have died so far.
