With 18 new Covid-19 cases, Kalyan-Dombivli cross 200 marks

KALYAN: Eighteen fresh Covid-19 cases reported from Kalyan-Dombivli on Monday took the total number of patients cross 200 marks in the region with 213 cases till now.
The health department of KDMC said that the number of cases in Dombivli shot up 111 on Monday out of which Dombivli (East) has maximum 63 Covid-19 patients and there are 48 cases in Dombivli (West). Out of eighteen new patients, four are policemen posted in Mumbai and Navi Mumbai. Among then one is a 29-year old policewoman residing in Mohane area. Two others patients works in health department in Mumbai.
The remaining eight are closed contacts of patients already infected in the city. On Monday, three more patients were discharged including one and half year old girl child.
If civic sources are to be believed than out of 213 patients, 63 patients are infected while working outside city either in Mumbai, Thane or Navi Mumbai. So far out of total 213 patients three has died while total 68 have got discharged after they were completely cured.
