*A majority of the Nanded pilgrims, who have tested positive for Covid-19 showed no symptoms of being infected, adding to growing concern about asymptomatic individuals contributing to the spread of the dreaded virus.
*The health authorities in Haryana have decided to focus mainly on symptomatic cases for Covid-19 testing, according to the state’s testing strategy. The testing of asymptomatic cases would be done only when they are direct and high-risk contacts of a confirmed case.
*As many as 23,000 people — most of them migrant labourers — stranded in the city owing to the lockdown have signed up to be sent back home.
