In Maharashtra, the Uddhav Thackeray government decided that in the third phase of the lockdown starting on Monday, liquor shops will open in the Green and Orange zones as well as the Red Zone. At the same time, the voice of opposition from the opposition has started to rise on this. All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul-Muslimeen (AIMIM) leader and Aurangabad MP Imtiaz Ali have questioned the government's decision.

The Aurangabad MP said, 'The government has decided to open liquor shops in the Red Zone as well. If liquor shops open in Aurangabad, we will break the lockdown restrictions and forcefully close these shops. We will bring more and more women on the road. This is not the time to sell liquor and cause problems for mothers and sisters. '

It may be noted that the Maharashtra government decided that in the third phase of lockdown starting from Monday, liquor shops will be opened not only in the Green and Orange zones but also in the Red Zone. However, the state government has decided that the containment zone will be kept separate from it. At the same time, barbershops and spas will also not open in the Red Zone. Not only this, taxis and cabs will also not run in the Red Zone.

The Maharashtra government has decided to allow the opening of standalone shops in the Red Zone. Only five non-essential shops can be opened in each lane. There is no restriction on the number of stores required. Not only this, courier and postal services have also been allowed in the Red Zone.
