Hubballi: Congress leader and former chairperson of Karnataka Balavikas Academy Dakshayani Basavaraj, 55, passed away due to a cardiac arrest at her house in Dharwad on Sunday.
Dakshayani was the frontline woman leader of Congress. She is survived by husband, a son and a daughter. Congress leaders G Parameshwar, Ishwar Khandre, Anil Kumar Patil and others condoled her death.
