CHENNAI: People from Tamil Nadu, who are currently stranded in other states due to the lockdown and who want to return to the state, should register themselves on the website - https://rttn.nonresidenttamil.org/.
NRIs from Tamil Nadu stuck in foreign countries, who want to return to the state, shall register on https://nonresidenttamil.org.
Guest workers or people from other states struck in Tamil Nadu should register on https://rtos.nonresidenttamil.org/ to return to their states.
People in the state who want get emergency travel pass for inter district and inter-state travel can apply on the following website - http://tnepass.tnega.org/
Emergency travel pass for inter--district and inter-state travel shall only be applied on the following grounds: Death of direct blood relation, extreme medical emergency of family member and pre-fixed marriage (only direct blood relatives).
The same website http://tnepass.tnega.org/ can be used for applying for travel passes for domestic helps, cooks for travel within Chennai city from today (May 4).
Apart from this, self-employed workers such as plumbers, electricians, air conditioner servicemen, carpenters, home care providers for people with special needs and others can also apply for permission on the same website.
