NEW BEDFORD — This summer, DATMA is collaborating with several local organizations to prepare a robust line-up of public art for everyone to enjoy from a safe social distance. First up, three prominent downtown New Bedford buildings will be lit by internationally renowned MASARY Studios with large-scale digital animations spotlighting our maritime industry. Next, a reflective light room, visible from sidewalks and city streets, will be installed by Soo Sunny Park. Once installed, both spectacular projects will be available for you to experience by car, bicycle, or on foot. Visit DATMA's website.

Photo-kinetic Grid by Soo Sunny Park will be on view at UMass Dartmouth CVPA Star Store Swain Gallery, 715 Purchase St., from June 20 until Sept. 14. The Swain Gallery is located at the corner of the Star Store providing full corner window views of this spectacular exhibit and will be able to be experienced and seen day and night by car, bicycle, or on foot. We will keep you up to date on access availability for entry. Typical summer hours for entry are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily, but based on state-wide health mandates.
