Karnataka first year PU results to be announced on May 5
Representational Image. BENGALURU: The results of the first year Pre-University exams that were conducted in February/March will be announced on May 5.
The results will be sent directly to students and parents through their registered mobile numbers. While the practise was to display the results on college notice board, the department of PU education has instructed colleges not to do it this time to avoid gathering.
Colleges can conduct online classes for students who have cleared the exam. For students who have failed, a supplementary exam will be held at the college level. Dates of the exam will be declared later.
PU colleges have also been asked not to hike fees for the next academic year. The department of primary and secondary education had issued a similar order for schools earlier.
