This week started with both, Deepika Padukone and Alia Bhatt having digital get-togethers with their respective friends. While Padukone had a fun chat session with childhood friends Divya Narayan and Sneha Ramachander, Alia Bhatt was seen having a great time on Zoom with her girl gang, which includes best friends, Devika Advani and Akansha Ranjan Kapoor.
Katrina Kaif, who has been self-isolating with her sister Isabelle Kaif, has been sharing several videos of her at-home activities over the past month, which have included everything from sweeping the floors of her living room to washing utensils. This week, the Bollywood star shared a video on Instagram that gave her fans a glimpse at her cooking skills too. Over in Los Angeles, Priyanka Chopra, who has been quarantining with husband Nick Jonas, changed up her at-home look for a day. Her pick: a pretty printed sari covered in ivory blooms.
Just like the past weeks, throwback photographs reigned supreme on Instagram. While Kajol posted an old image with her mother Tanuja, Abhishek Bachchan shared a rare snapshot of himself shaking a leg with father Amitabh Bachchan on stage. “My 1st ever stage performance after becoming an actor. Got to share it with a pretty cool dude!” he captioned it. Sara Ali Khan, on the other hand took to the 'gram to share a childhood photo of herself all set for a big performance, dressed in a yellow and black outfit topped off with gold earrings, a maang tikka and a choker.
Across the globe, celebrations took over social media feeds. The Duke and Duchess Of Cambridge completing nine years of marriage, and a new picture shared on their official page shows the couple walking out of Westminster Abbey hand-in-hand following their wedding ceremony back in 2011. Gigi Hadid celebrated her 25th birthday with sister Bella Hadid and boyfriend Zayn Malik, and now, reports suggest that the model may also be expecting her first child with Malik!
