On Friday the 1st of May, a statement from Anglicare confirmed the bad news: another resident of the aged care home had died with COVID-19. The news came after another shock announcement late on Thursday that a further three residents at the western Sydney aged care home had tested positive to coronavirus, bringing the total number of Newmarch linked cases to 59.
