THANE: Three Covid-19 deaths and 34 new cases were reported in Thane on Friday, its highest death toll and number of cases in a single day so far. Of the 34 positive patients, 10 were from Wagle Estate.
Two of patients who died were on ventilator—a 60-yearold Mumbra man, who was diabetic and suffering from chronic kidney condition, at Thane Civil Hospital and a 52-year-old man from Azad Nagar at Horizon Prime Hospital. The third patient who died was a 70-year-old man from Vartak Nagar at Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Hospital.
