Three persons die while 12 test positive for Covid-19 in Rajasthan

JAIPUR: Three persons died while 12 others were tested positive for Covid-19 in the state on Saturday morning.
A 55-year-old man, resident of Ramganj area of Jaipur, was rushed to SMS hospital on Friday but doctors declared him brought dead. His samples were taken and he was found infected with the coronavirus.
A 15-year-old boy, resident of Bhindiyon Ka Mohalla of Chandpole area, who was admitted to JK Lon hospital in Jaipur on Friday died on the same day after few hours of treatment. He is the youngest person died of Covid-19 in the state so far.
A 67-year-old man, resident of Nagouri Gate of Jodhour, who was admitted to MG hospital on April 30, died on the same day. The health department officials said that he had pre-existing coronary artery disease.
With three fresh deaths in the state, toll has increased to 65 in the state.
Apart from three deaths, the state has reported 12 new Covid-19 cases. The districts which reported the cases are Jaipur (5), Jodhpur( 2), Ajmer( 1), Chittorgarh (1), Kota (1), and Dholpur (2). Total positive cases in the state stands at 2678.
Out of 65 deaths happened in the state, 35 have happened in Jaipur. The health department officials are conducting survey in the hotbed areas to find out people who are elderly and suffering from chronic diseases of lungs, heart, liver and also those suffering from diabetes and hypertension as they claimed that majority of the people who had died in the state had comorbidities.
