FALL RIVER – Another two city residents have died from the novel coronavirus, bringing the total to seven, Mayor Paul Coogan said Friday.

The city has a total of 533 confirmed cases, up by 24 in the past day.

Bristol County lost an additional 10 residents to COVID-19 for a total of 182 deaths.

Plymouth County counted another 16 fatalities for a total of 301.

The state of Massachusetts has recorded 3,716 deaths, with 154 new in the past day.

There are 3,792 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Bristol County (up 212 cases) and 5,259 (up 176 cases) in Plymouth County.

Massachusetts added 2,106 cases in the past 24 hours for a total of 64,311 confirmed cases of COVID-19.

There are currently 3,716 patients hospitalized in Massachusetts hospitals, with 947 in the intensive care unit.

In local hospitals, there are 71 at Morton Hospital in Taunton, with 14 in the ICU.

Charlton Memorial Hospital is caring for 43 patients, with 15 in the ICU. St. Anne’s Hospital has six patients with none in the ICU.

St. Luke’s Hospital in New Bedford now has 94 patients, including 16 in the ICU.

The average age of those hospitalized is 69.

Another 88 people died from COVID-19 contracted in long-term facilities throughout the state. Total deaths were reported at 2,189.

Deaths in long-term care facilities account for 59 percent of all COVID-19 related fatalities in Massachusetts.

Local nursing homes with cases are as follows: Catholic Memorial Home, under 10 cases; Fall River Healthcare, 10 to 30 cases; Kimwell, 10 to 30 cases; Sarah Brayton, under 10 cases; Southpointe, more than 30 cases; Brandon Woods Dartmouth, more than 30 cases.

Clifton Assisted Living has under 10 cases, as does Autumn Glen Assisted Living in Dartmouth.

Some 12,557 residents and staff of 319 long-term care facilities have tested positive to date.

The National Guard has performed 27,316 tests in long-term care facilities, including 2,820 on Friday.

The state tested 13,989 residents for COVID-19 in the past 24 hours, and 289,636 to date.
