CHENNAI: Chennaiites should now contact the state e-pass control room, instead of approaching the Greater Chennai Corporation, to get emergency vehicle pass.
As per government orders, the powers to issue emergency travel pass has been transferred from the Chennai Corporation to the state e-pass control room.
People can apply on the following website: http://tnepass.tnega.org/
Emergency travel pass for inter--district and inter-state travel shall only be applied on the following grounds: Death of direct blood relation, extreme medical emergency of family member and pre-fixed marriage (only direct blood relatives).
