The Congress on Saturday urged Prime Minister Narendra Modi to address the nation and enlighten the people about the government's exit plan from the coronavirus-induced lockdown.
The central government has extended the lockdown into a third phase for two more weeks starting May 4. The existing phase of lockdown is coming to an end of May 3.
"When will lockdown finally end; PM must address and enlighten 130-crore Indians on the way ahead," said Congress leader Randeep Surjewala.
Surjewala, national spokesperson of the Congress, said, "We urge PM to lay out exit plan from the lockdown, spell out goalpost to deal with coronavirus and economy."
The party has also alleged that the migrant labour issue has not been handled in "humane and compassionate manner."
