Spurs 'keeper says club not thinking about Kane leaving

2020-05-02 14:12

Tottenham Hotspur goalkeeper Paulo Gazzaniga says it is unthinkable that Harry Kane will leave the Premier League club.

Kane faces an uncertain future in north London after insisting he won't stay at Spurs "for the sake of it".

The north London side are apparently 'furious' and 'exasperated' with the striker, leading to suggestions that they could sanction a world-record £200 million move to Manchester United.

When asked about Kane's future, Gazzaniga told ESPN: "I don’t know the situation of Harry, at the moment he is here.

"We are happy with him, of course. He's a player who always gives us goals and points.

"He is always very important for us.

"We are only thinking of him as a Tottenham player. We're not thinking of him being at another team."
