Punjab govt launches online registration of migrants willing to go to their native places

BATHINDA: The persons from the other states who are stranded in Punjab and are desirous of going back to their home states, can now apply at www.covidhelp.punjab.gov.in by May 3, 2020. After filling the performa, a system generated unique id would be given to the applicant.
Fazilka deputy commissioner Arvind Pal Singh Sandhu said that access to the back-end of the link would be provided by the state control room and by May 3, the deputy commissioners would be in a position to access database and see details of their respective districts. During these two days, health check-up camps would be held to screen the applicants. The screening would be completed by the night of May 4. Those found asymptomatic would be issued a certificate by the health team.
