PM Modi holds detailed meeting on power sector amid Coronavirus lockdown
Prime Minister Narendra Modi on May 01 held a detailed meeting on the power sector in the view of coronavius lockdown. The Prime Minister also took stock of the impact of COVID-19 pandemic on the sector. The PM discussed various long-term reforms for enhancing sustainability, resilience, and efficiency of the sector. Home Minister Amit Shah, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman and Civil Aviation Minister Hardeep Singh Puri were present in the meeting. Chief of Defense (CDS) Bipin Rawat was also present in the meeting.
