The good news has come today for people facing a variety of problems in the lockdown announced due to the Coronavirus. According to this news, the price of LPG cylinder without subsidy has been reduced. With this, consumers will now get cheaper cylinders.
The prices of gas cylinders are reviewed by the oil companies on the first of every month. Under this, the LPG cylinder has become cheaper by Rs 163 in the national capital Delhi. However, due to the varying tax applicable, there may be a difference in the prices of LPG cylinders in the states.
According to the IOC website, in the national capital, Delhi will now have to pay Rs 581 for a gas cylinder. Whereas in April, the cylinder used to pay Rs 744. Due to a reduction in LPG prices, 15 crore consumers of the country will benefit. This will provide a major relief to consumers in lockdown.
