New containment zone in Katargam

Surat: SMC on Thursday declared Amroli-Raysan Road, 405 buildings which included H2 Avaas, H3 Avaas, H4 Avaas in Katargam area as 'containemnt zone' where 1.02 lak people are living in 19,440 households. This was done after positive cases surfaced from these areas. The residents of these buildings have been asked to remain inside their homes until further notice. There are a total of 34 containment zones in the city now.
