HYDERABAD: A 25-year-old daily wage labourer was taken into custody for outraging the modesty of a minor girl on Thursday in LB Nagar.
The accused is a resident of Bandlaguda under LB Nagar police station limits.
The 11-year-old daughter of a vegetable vendor was selling vegetables in front of their home when the accused came there. He allegedly held her hands and misbehaved with her.
Following a complaint, the daily wager was booked under section 354 (assault or criminal force to woman with intent to outrage her modesty) of the IPC apart from relevant sections of the POCSO Act.
