Guardian minister Raut unfurls flag during muted Maharashtra Day celebrations

Nagpur: There were no celebrations of the 60th foundation day of Maharashtra state due to the Covid-19 lockdown, here on Friday.
The Tricolour was unfurled by Nitin Raut, the guardian minister of Nagpur, at a simple event on the occasion at the collector’s office in Civil Lines.
Divisional commissioner Sanjeev Kumar, district collector Ravindra Thakre, police commissioner BK Upadhyay and some senior bureaucrats were present on the occasion.
A small guard of honour was given and the national anthem played by the police whose members wore masks and maintained social distancing.
