Mysuru man uses fake pass to travel to Coimbatore

MYSURU: The city police on Wednesday seized the car of a local resident for using a fake pass to travel to Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu.
Nirmal Kumar Singhvi (57), a resident of RS Naidunagar, was stopped at Fountain Circle by a police team after noticing an unusual pass format.
When questioned, Nirmal claimed that he got the pass from one of his friends, which he downloaded and then got a colour photocopy. He told cops that he received the pass on WhatsApp. Police also seized his mobile phone and a probe has been launched.
