The creator of one of TikTok's most popular dance challenges is back with new choreography to Megan Thee Stallion's "Savage" remix featuring Beyoncé, less than 24 hours after the remix's release.
Keara Wilson, whose TikTok handle is @keke.janajah, created the original "Savage" TikTok dance, and she delivered a new dance challenge to the remix itself in record time. She uploaded the new choreography the same day, April 29, that the remix itself dropped. The TikTok time stamp records it as having been published around 6 pm PST/9 pm EST, just a few short hours after Megan Thee Stallion tweeted about the remix at 1:45 PST/4:45 EST. Rather than using the chorus of the song like the original challenge, the dance is set to the first verse of the remix.

The remix, which Megan Thee Stallion surprise dropped on April 29, quickly exploded online, causing Beyoncé to trend on Twitter. Certain lyrics from her verse, caused buzz online for references to Demon Time, a virtual strip club, OnlyFans, and seemingly TikTok itself in reference to the original song's massive popularity on the app.
The original "Savage" is arguably best known for that viral fame. It soundtracks one of TikTok's most popular dance challenges and has been translated into multiple languages by creators on the app. While TikTok has seen a problem with people lifting dances without credit, Wilson's path towards virality with "Savage" was, as the Daily Dot reported, unusually direct. Five days after Wilson had posted the original dance on TikTok and begun promoting it, Megan Thee Stallion had reposted the dance on Instagram, helping catapult it to viral fame.
