Balmain man shot dead

Police are looking for a man who shot and killed a man in Balmain, Couva on Wednesday afternoon.

Reports said David Ramkissoon, 40, of Grieg Street, Balmain, had an argument with a female friend earlier in the day.

At about 3.40 pm, police said, Ramkissoon saw the woman in the front passenger seat of a gold Nissan Navara that was slowly driving down the street.

Ramkissoon stopped the car and confronted the woman and the man driving the car shot him several times.

He was taken to the San Fernando General Hospital but later died.

Homicide Bureau Region III, led by PC Latchman, is investigating.
