Guidelines that will be implemented in airports after the lockdown is lifted in the country has been announced by the Airport Authority of India (AAI). India has been under lockdown since 25 March due to the ongoing global Covid-19 pandemic. The new guidelines impose restrictions on the number of terminals that will be operational, as well as the food and beverage outlets. Airports Authority of India (AAI), which manages over 100 airports in the country has stated that they should prepare to handle only 30 per cent of the normal flight schedule.
