GURUGRAM: The Gurugram district administration on Thursday announced additional strict restrictions on cross-border movement to be implemented from May 1. Residents of Gurugram working in Delhi have been asked to make their living arrangements in Delhi and those commuting every day from Delhi to Gurugram for work will have to make their living arrangement in Gurugram only.

The district administration will allow minimum people to cross the Gurugram-Delhi border. The orders will come into effect from 10am on May 1 and will remain in effect till further orders. The order issued by the district magistrate, Amit Khatri, states that these steps have been taken to further contain the spread of Covid-19.

Moreover, people crossing the border will have to go through three levels of checking –Aarogya Setu app should be installed and used by people crossing the border, thermal scanning and symptomatic screening will be conducted while entering Gurugram and rapid testing of symptomatic will also be conducted while entering the city.
