Pilgrims from Sri Hazur Sahib, stranded in Maharashtra's Nanded, returned to Punjab. As of now, around 3613 such pilgrims have returned to the state. Deputy Commissioner of Amritsar Shivdular Singh Dhillon confirmed that out of these pilgrims, 23 have been tested positive for COVID-19. While speaking to ANI, he said, “23 pilgrims who returned to Punjab from Sri Hazur Sahib in Maharashtra's Nanded have tested positive for COVID-19. They have been shifted to isolation ward at Guru Nanak Dev Hospital.”
