Cops seal a Sector 38 colony in Chandigarh

*The Punjab and Haryana high court has made it clear that any person cannot be held to be in illegal or unlawful detention if they have been kept in quarantine by the authorities due to Covid-19 pandemic.

*Punjab education minister Vijay Inder Singla suggested the Union human resource development minister, Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank, and minister for communications, electronics and information technology Ravi Shankar Prasad, to direct TV channels to provide two-hour time slot per day for free to state governments to broadcast education lectures.
