Panjab University gathers hostellers’ belongings

CHANDIGARH: Panjab University (PU) hostel staff has started vacating rooms of the students, who have stated that they would not be able to come back to the varsity. Two teams under the supervision of dean student welfare (women) Neena Capalash is supervising the process of vacating the rooms in girls hostel number 10.
Nodal officer of the Chandigarh administration also made a visit to the south campus to know about status of vacating PU hostel rooms.
The DSW (women) said they were open for the option that if any student or their guardians wanted to collect the stuff personally, then they could do so. She added that videography of each room was being done while packing the stuff. Hhostel inmates were also contacted before starting the process.
