One of the most-followed couples in Bollywood, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Saif Ali Khan rather enjoy their privacy. The duo like to share snippets of their lives with their fans every now and then, but on their own terms. And one part of their lives that followers have never been able to encroach upon is their home, a little haven in the middle of Mumbai's Bandra neighbourhood. In Kapoor Khan's own words back in 2018, “I’ve always been honest, but I’m also ferociously private. I’m not on social media, Saif isn’t on social media. I don’t want to put stuff out there.” Since then, a lot has changed. Kareena Kapoor Khan is now on Instagram, and though fan pages have in the past managed to share glimpses from her residence, nothing beats the new sneak peeks we've managed to collect from her official page. Step into the Pataudi family home in Mumbai
After tying the knot in 2012, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Saif Ali Khan moved into their new home, perched at the very top of Fortune Heights, Bandra. The interiors of the apartment were done by Nozer Wadia, who, keeping the aesthetic of the couple in mind, went for a classic-meets-modern vibe for the space. The perfect balance between relaxed and cosy, the Khans' home features comfy couches, countless paintings, and striking antiques.

A warm and rustic space, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Saif Ali Khan’s living room brings alive an old world charm. One look inside their home is all you need to realise that both halves of this iconic powerful duo are fond of dark, moody hues. You’ll spot royal blue velvet curtains, hardwood floors, vintage lamps, Turkish rugs and plush sofas in this area. The Pataudi family also has an expansive art collection that finds a place in their living room, but other pieces from different artists are spread across their apartment along with old and new family photos.
On one side of the living room resides their own little library, which features floor-to-ceiling bookshelves brimming with classics. The room also features a dark grey built-in bar and a well-stocked cabinet at the end of the room. Apart from this, you’ll spot Khan's vintage leather writing table, along with a guitar for when the star, a big music fan, takes a break from his work. On the opposite side of this space comes the couple's lounge and dining area, which has been the venue for a number of parties and dinners over the years.
A walk through the Khans' leafy balcony
Step out through the wood-panelled glass windows along Kareena Kapoor Khan and Saif Ali Khan's living room, and you'll instantly be greeted by rows and rows of succulents, leafy shrubs and tropical plants that line the edges of their balcony. With black and white tiled flooring, the space makes the perfect spot for the couple to enjoy their afternoon cup of tea and take in the sea breeze. Recently, Saif Ali Khan and son Taimur Ali Khan also took over the space for a gardening session while practising social distancing. Come evening, the hanging lanterns in the Khans' balcony light up to create a romantic outdoor corner.

In contrast to the vintage-inspired details and dark tones of the rest of the house, Taimur Ali Khan’s nursery, designed by Ritakshi of Bibs N Cribs, is all about natural light and ivory interiors, the only exception being its dark wooden flooring. The nursery features earthy wallpaper, a white crib with a customised Pataudi crest, a foldable tent house with jungle-inspired illustrations and to break the colour palette a bit, a deep blue couch. Like the rest of the house, Taimur's room also includes a row of family photographs from holidays in Gstaad, Switzerland and the Pataudi Palace.
