Aditya Institute of Management Studies and Research (AIMSR) has become known as a Business School that challenges conventional learning processes in management education in India. The Institute has been ranked among the top 10 B-schools in Mumbai and 45th among the top Private Institutes in India according to the Times B-School survey 2020. The Institute is continuously working toward global recognition for learning and innovation. AIMSR has recently signed an MOU and Cooperation Agreement with Lincoln University, USA to establish student exchange and visiting programs along with information exchange for research collaboration.

AIMSR received an Award and Certificate of Excellence at the Navbharat Education Awards ceremony in June 2019. The felicitation was given for being a Business School that offers the best fusion of Global and Indian Teaching practices. Maximum attention is focussed on developing the holistic personality of the students by sensitizing them to cultures of all kinds. In November 2019 students visited Hyundai Motor Company and Samsung during the International Study Tour. The exposure to South Korean culture and the way of life added to the student's understanding of global markets in many ways.

The Institute has been inculcating cutting edge management capabilities in students through value-based education and action-centered research, in keeping with global practices. AIMSR has a philosophy of learning by doing. The students take up several live projects and assignments which introduce them to corporate and social issues and how to deal with them. Organisations such as Ola, Visol, DDB Mudra, and many more provide these learning opportunities to the students. This exposure happens in addition to a rigorous academic schedule. On-campus, students have complete access to digital databases such as J-Gate, Ebscohost, CMIE, and Tickerplant; to Faculty and Alumni as mentors; opportunities of global connect with thinkers and practitioners and round the clock availability of learning infrastructure.
