Covid-19: Mapusa students stitch masks

PANAJI: NSS students of Dnyanprassarak Mandal's College and Research Centre, Assagao put their hands together to stich and distribute masks during the Covid-19 lockdown in Goa.
After the college was closed its gates due to the lockdown, the institute’s NSS unit convenor and programme officers informed its 560 students to contribute for a noble cause of preparing the masks.
Around 200 students, who had the facility of stitching the mask commenced the work of making them.
Now, around 900 masks have been distributed among shopkeepers, migrants and essential service workers in their villages in Pernem and Bardez talukas.
