In Mumbai, two killed in clash over drinking water kiosk

MUMBAI: Two men were killed and one seriously injured in a dispute over the installation of a sabil, a drinking water kiosk, in Shivaji Nagar slums on Monday. The police have detained two men.
“Around 6.30pm, a group of men attacked Rajjab Ali, Premsingh and Mohammed Ali and others with swords, choppers and axes near the municipal school on road number 8,” said senior inspector Paitankar. Rajjab and Premsingh died, while Mohammed is in hospital.
Sources said since the last two days, two men, identified only as Sheru and Amin, had a dispute with some locals over the installation of the sabil.
