Goa boat owners association demands a relief fund from the government as they are badly hit by lockdown. All Goa Purse Seine Boat Owners Association President, Harshad Dhond told ANI that because of seven storms, the fishing business in Goa was almost finished, as there were not much fishing activities. “After that we did a little bit of fishing but this corona lockdown was implemented,” he added. “We are facing a financial crunch, we are not able to give salaries and we are unable to meet our day to day expenses,” said Harshad Dhond.
