Prime Minister Narendra Modi today held a meeting with Chief Ministers of all states through video conferencing. Talking to the Chief Ministers, PM Modi said that the collective efforts are showing some effect. Three issues have been discussed in today's meeting. One, the current status of corona infection in the states and efforts being made to prevent it. The feedback of the states on the implementation of the exemptions provided by the Ministry of Home Affairs from the second of April 20 and the strategy after the third, May 3.

In this conferencing, all the states except Himachal and Meghalaya advised ending the lockdown. During the discussion, the Chief Minister of Meghalaya suggested Prime Minister Modi extend the lockdown beyond May 3. Now the question is whether the lockdown will increase after May 3 or not, Syed may have another view on it.

The CM of Uttarakhand said that tourism and pilgrims have been greatly affected by the lockdown. With the intervention of PM, we will soon be able to revive our industry and economy. Trade and business activities should begin in a phase-wise manner, with a focus on all precautionary measures.

Odisha CM Naveen Patnaik said he was in favor of continuing the lockdown. He said that it is important that economic activities be allowed. I request the Central Government to initiate measures for the economy as we are working together to curb the disease.
