GURUGRAM: One person tested positive for Covid-19 in Faridabad on Sunday, taking the total tally to 45 in the district. The 43-year-old man is a resident of Kaluki village, the health department confirmed.
According to Dr Ram Bhagat, deputy civil surgeon in Faridabad, “The patient visited a primary health care unit as he had flu. His samples tested positive for Covid-19 on Sunday. We have identified seven people who were directly in contact with him and will collect their samples soons. The patient does not have any travel history.”
The health department said out of 45 positive cases in the district, 35 have been discharged after recovery. Meanwhile, no new cases were reported from Gurugram on Sunday. The district currently has 51 Covid-19 cases. Drones have been deployed in Sohna where total 14 positive cases have been identified by the department.
