List of Airbus planes grounded as coronavirus pandemic takes out three-quarters of all jets

More than 7,000 Airbus planes are currently grounded due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Travel data and analytics expert Cirium has compiled a list of the Airbus jets removed from the skies as airlines slash the number of flights.

In total there are 7,372 Airbus jets removed from operations - parked up around the globe.

Report highlights catalogue of failures before pensioner's brutal murder

The Probation Service has said it will formally apologise in writing to the family of a vulnerable man for failing to properly manage a released prisoner who went on to murder him three years ago.

It comes after the Ministry of Justice was asked about a confidential report into a private company tasked with managing murderer Jordan Davidson.

The report by the now-defunct Wales Community Rehabilitation Company (Wales CRC), which was contracted to look after low to medium risk offenders, details a raft of errors surrounding his management

A55 eastbound has re-opened following a crash last night between J23 Llanddulas Interchange to J23A A548 Dundonald Avenue (Pensarn / Abergele).
The road was closed for investigations after an accident.

People in North Wales care homes are 'sitting ducks' for coronavirus, says doctor who runs one

Care homes in North Wales need help isolating elderly residents to prevent coronavirus spreading “like wildfire” within infected premises, a retired doctor believes. Dr Sam Thomas said a lack of isolation facilities was a major concern as he braces for the virus’ impact at his Gwynedd nursing home. Without a way of segregating residents, they were like “sitting ducks”, he said.
