1. Chantelle Intimates Rive Gauche Three Part Bra, $119.95

According to Who What Wear, this $119.95 bra from David Jones is one of the best that money can buy.

And while it's pricey, the scalloped lace style from Chantecalle offers 'ultimate support and shaping, without adding size'.

Reviews across the Internet are positive, with some describing it as the 'best bra I have ever owned'.

'This is the best bra you will ever own. I used to live and die by padded bras for the lift, support, and balance (I have some asymmetry), but this bra really does the job and actually works overtime,' one reviewer said.

Another person highlighted that it is 'so comfortable' and 'the perfect fit'.

'This is the best bra. It doesn't squish my breasts, it's pretty and has great support,' another commenter added.

The bra has between a 4.6 and five star rating online.

The second most popular bra with women across the world is Natori's Feathers Underwire Contour Bra.

The $106 style has more than 3,000 reviews on the Nordstrom website, where many have praised the T-shirt style's ability to provide a flattering shape without digging in.

'The Natori Feathers is my daily go-to bra,' one reviewer said.

'The plunge is such a natural silhouette and works under almost any piece of clothing in my wardrobe.'

While the bra has been designed for comfort, that doesn't mean it's not pretty - which is another thing countless women like about it.

'Beautiful bra, and it looks fantastic under form fitting tops. First purchase from Natori, but won't be the last,' another added.

Are you wearing the wrong-sized bra?

* If the band of your bra is rubbing, your breasts are too big for the bra.

* Similarly, if your band is on the tightest hook and you can still slide it around with ease, then your bra is too big

* Check your straps - if they're digging into your shoulders or constantly falling off and needing to be tightened, then your bra doesn't fit correctly.

* Just because you're one size in one store, doesn't means you'll be the same size in all stores.

* If you have 'boob bulge', either over the front or the sides of your bra, then it doesn't fit right.

* Try to get professionally fitted every six months, and wear your bra tightly to ensure the best fit and room to move.

* Increase the shelf life of your bra by washing them inside a laundry bag and avoiding the tumble dryer.

The bra is a hit because it boasts soft padded cups that also have under-wiring for support, and a pretty embroidered lace band.

'I own at least 50 bras, all in great shape, but generally I find after buying and wearing them that there is something missing,' one woman wrote.

'This bra, however, hits all the buttons. It is supportive, holds its shape, is not overly decorative, the straps have some detail, and it pairs well with just about everything from plunging necklines to T-shirts.'

Others said it's their 'favourite' because it looks smooth under clothes and you wouldn't even know you're wearing a bra.

The lingerie has a 4.6 star rating online.
