Garbage collection workers are real heroes, says Maharashtra home minister Anil Deshmukh

NAGPUR: Garbage collection workers associated with BVG and AG Infra working under NMC were given masks and sanitizers by Maharashtra home minister Anil Deshmukh near Jaiprakash Nagar Jaitala road Railway Crossing Nagpur on Monday April 27 2020
The Maharashtra home minister appreciated them and said they are doing a commendable job of keeping the city clean during the Covid-19 Lockdown. He said that the doctors, health workers, police, civic workers and others who are working and putting their lives in risk during the Lockdown are real heroes of the society.
There are around 2500 garbage collection workers with these two agencies working under the Nagpur Municipal Corporation (NMC) and out of that on Monday around 1000 workers were provided with these mask and sanitizers by the home minister.
