Enforce lockdown in Aurangabad strictly: Maha minister Tope

Rajesh Tope has asked Aurangabad officials to enforce lockdown strictly in order to halt the spread of novel coronavirus in the region.

He chaired a meeting on Sunday, where Divisional Commissioner Sunil Kendrekar demanded mobile X-ray units while District Collector Uday Choudhari said facilities had been created to accommodate up to 25,000 patients, an official release informed.

Aurangabad has 53 COVID-19 cases, and six people have died of the infection so far.
