India's forex reserves jumps by US$ 3.093 billion in the week ended 17 April

India's foreign exchange reserves increased by US$ 3.09 billion to US$ 479.57 billion in the week ended 17 April 2020. The foreign exchange reserves had stood at US$ 476.48 a week ago. Within the foreign exchange reserves, the foreign currency assets moved up to US$ 441.88 billion in the week ended 17 April 2020 from US$ 440.34 billion a week ago.

The gold asset also improved to US$ 32.68 billion from US$ 31.14 billion a week ago.

SDRs were flat at US$ 1.43 billion in the week ended 17 April 2020.

India's foreign exchange reserves declined by US$ 1.76 billion over March 2020, while jumped US$ 65.42 billion over a year ago level.
