Doctors to offer health tips over phone in Noida

NOIDA: The Noida Authority on Friday roped in eight doctors who would counsel the residents. The group of eight professionals have agreed to help patients over the phone since outpatient departments of hospitals remain out of bounds.
Authority officials got in touch with Indian Medical Association to identify professionals who would be available between 10am and 6pm. People having health issues can approach the experts by dialling 0120 – 2422317. The eight medical professionals include physicians, child specialists, ENT as well as an ophthalmologist.
Meanwhile, Korean machines would be pressed into service to sanitise and fumigate offices of the Noida Authority. A private bank provided three machines to the Authority on Friday. The machines release steam, which officials said, would be able to kill all kind of viruses and contamination. Authority officials would add a special solution and fumigate the premises through steam jet machine. The equipment would be used to fumigate common areas, floor as well as surfaces of different objects at the Noida Authority’s office besides other offices in sectors 19, 20, 37 and 39.
