2019 was a busy year for the folks at Maranello as the carmaker unveiled the F8 Tributo, SF90 Stradale and the Roma. These three cars are a part of Ferrari’s roadmap to have 15 new models by 2022. For 2020, Ferrari’s Chief Marketing and Commercial Officer, Enrico Galliera, had revealed in a report we will see two new models being revealed at the end of this year. This was before the coronavirus pandemic lockdown happened. Now, with production expected to resume soon, these plans may go ahead after all.
While details on both cars are scarce, Enrico Galliera has hinted that Ferrari will continue its planned expansion of its range of cars. This also means looking at segments beyond the Purosangue SUV that is expected in 2021, yet sticking to its brand image as a sports car manufacturer.
In the case that the two upcoming Ferrari models are pushed to 2021, both will join the Purosangue SUV‘s debut. The Pursangue will be Ferrari’s first foray into the SUV segment and a rival to the likes of the Lamborghini Urus.
Expect the two new Ferrari models to be unveiled towards the November-December time period at the latest this year or an early 2021 debut. However all this is dependent on how the world tackles the coronavirus pandemic.
