Panchkula: Of 128 Jamaatis, 122 test negative

PANCHKULA: The Panchkula health department heaved a sigh of relief after 122 Jamaatis staying at two quarantine facilities here tested negative for Covid-19 for the second time.
They have now been sent for home quarantine.
The civil hospital authorities said, “The reports of the 122 Jamaatis, out of 128, were received from the PGI on Thursday. While they have tested negative for the second consecutive time, six others are still positive and under treatment at the isolation ward.”
Of the 122, as many as 55 were staying at Nada Sahib Gurdwara quarantine facility and 67 at Mouli quarantine facility.
An administration official said, “It is good news for the Panchkula district and a morale booster for our staff working towards containing the coronavirus spread.”
