Spare a thought for the truck drivers who are hauling essential goods across the country during lockdown, and it's comforting to know Daimler Trucks and Buses are still offering support to their customers during this difficult phase of the coronavirus.

Michael Dietz; CEO Daimler Trucks & Buses Southern Africa says the company has "adequately structured and resourced its dealer network and teams across Southern Africa, to offer uninterrupted support to customers delivering essential goods and services to preserve the health and safety of its people".

In light of the lockdown extension, Daimler Trucks and Buses Southern Africa (DTBSA) together with its valued partners would like to confirm their commitment to work diligently to meet their customer’s immediate requirements as they deliver essential goods and services.

"Customer focus remains a priority for the DTBSA brands, especially knowing how to best serve each customer in these times whilst keeping their employees safe, adhering to the law, and following the instructions from government", according to Dietz.
