Social distancing norms were flouted at Azadpur and Ghazipur mandis amid nationwide lockdown. People in huge number thronged at the Ghazipur mandi ignoring the precautionary measures for COVID-19 outbreak. Huge traffic was seen outside Azadpur Sabzi Mandi, as trucks, cars and tempos stood in long queues. The Azadpur mandi was allowed to remain open for 24 hours from April 21.
