NEW DELHI: Continuing with its campaign to raise awareness among people about the
coronavirus outbreak and how to stop it, Google Doodle on Thursday featured an animated gif to encourage people to "Stay home. Save lives: Help stop coronavirus".
The colourful doodle features alphabets of the word 'Google' busy with indoor activities like reading, playing musical instruments, exercising and connecting with your loved ones over long phone calls.
When a user hovers their cursor over the doodle they can read the message, "Stay home. Save lives: Help stop coronavirus".
If you click on the doodle, then it leads you to an entire page dedicated to all-important information that people need to know about the coronavirus pandemic. On the top of this page, Google lists out the five most important things a person can do to contribute in stopping the coronavirus, which are: STAY home; KEEP a safe distance; WASH hands often; COVER your cough and call the helpline in case you feel sick.
Further on, the page shares detailed guidelines which are being universally popularised by governments across the world and shares the link to World Health Organisation coronavirus information page as well as Indian health ministry's online pdf link which shares contact information of required authorities.
